The
Centre consists of a Meditation and Puja Hall, an extensive Library, book store,
and 11 cabins (kutis). The cabins are equipped with Western style toilets and
showers, electricity and room fans. The beds have comfortable mattresses and
linen is provided. They are all within convenient distance to the Meditation
Hall, Library and dining facility.
In April 2005, 3 new kutis (6 rooms) were opened and we
are now
able to house 35 guests (double occupancy) quite comfortably.
On a space available basis, and earliest reservation date, single occupancy
will be the preferred assignment.
In January 2009, a chetiya (stupa) was opened that
provides a room for meditation shielded from all outside noise and
distractions. Two new kutis and an adjoining common area were built near the
chetiya. Each can sleep three retreatants nad with the common area provides
dormitory style accommodations for groups.
Book Store
The Centre has an on-site book store with a wide variety of books from many
publishers. these are available at reasonable prices.
